Spell Up is a game that helps people improve their English by speaking to their web browser.
We created Spell Up when Web Speech, a new voice recognition API, was added to Chrome, we wanted to introduce it to the public in a playful and useful way.
The site received more than 4 Million visitors, mostly coming from countries where english was not the first language.
One of my favorite aspect of the project was designing the main component of the game with Hana Tanimura : more than 100 unique letters
